Software Radio Overview

Pentek offers board and system-level software radio products that include digital downconverters, upconverters and transceivers for a complete software defined radio solution. Since most of these products are FPGA-based, Pentek offers the GateFlow FPGA Design Kit for custom development of user-defined algorithms and signal processing functions. In addition, Pentek offers a number of IP cores that can be installed in the FPGAs of many of its products either by the user or at the factory. The highly-optimized IP Core Library for software radio includes fast FFT engines, pulse compressors and digital receivers from one to 256 channels.

Digital receivers have revolutionized electronic systems for a variety of applications including communications, data acquisition and signal processing.
